INTERSCHUTZ is a global firefighting trade show held every five years, serving as a platform for business exchange where the latest technologies and products in the global firefighting and disaster safety sectors are showcased. Hancom Life Care plans to use this exhibition to promote Korea’s firefighting equipment technology and expand its network with overseas clients.

At this exhibition, Hancom Life Care will showcase its core product lines, including the ‘K10’ self-contained breathing apparatus and gas mask, which have obtained the European CE safety certification, as well as fire-resistant helmets for firefighters. These products are designed to protect workers’ lives at disaster sites, and the company highlighted that they meet European safety standards.

The company intends to use this exhibition as an opportunity to expand its presence in the European market and diversify its global business. It will hold consultations not only with local European clients but also with buyers from the Middle East and Asia to explore concrete contract opportunities. The company also plans to discuss mid- to long-term cooperation strategies, such as joint development of new products and technical partnerships with global firefighting manufacturers.

Kim Sun-young, CEO of Hancom Life Care, stated, “As Interschutz is a stage where global firefighting technology standards converge, it will serve as an opportunity to validate our technological capabilities and product competitiveness in the global market.” She added, “We will elevate the status of South Korea’s firefighting industry while generating tangible business results through proactive overseas sales and technical cooperation.”

Meanwhile, Hancom Life Care is accelerating efforts to secure future safety technologies, including its recent entry into the unmanned firefighting robot business through a partnership with the French unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) company Shark Robotics. The company also plans to explore additional collaboration opportunities with local European robotics firms during the exhibition.
