InnoTech announced on the 4th that it has finalized an investment plan to build a new factory on a site within Brain City in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. This investment is intended to expand production infrastructure as a proactive measure in response to the recent rise in production facility utilization rates and the expansion of new orders. The company plans to secure a higher level of competitiveness by expanding production capacity for its main products and improving production efficiency through the construction of the new factory.
Approximately 26 billion won is expected to be invested in the new plant, covering land, buildings, and equipment. With a target completion date of March 2027, the project will focus on expanding production capacity to approximately four times the current level and optimizing process efficiency. Through this, the company aims to significantly improve product reliability and delivery responsiveness to provide customers with differentiated quality, delivery times, and service, while also laying the groundwork for a future transition to a mass production system.
The company explained that as demand in upstream industries expands and customers’ efforts to diversify their supply chains gain momentum, stable production capacity has emerged as a key competitive factor. Through the construction of the new plant, InnoTech plans to strengthen its responsiveness to existing customers while accelerating efforts to secure new clients.
An InnoTech official stated, “The construction of this new plant is not merely an expansion of production facilities but a strategic investment to proactively address future growth demands,” adding, “We will continuously strengthen our responsiveness to customers and our manufacturing competitiveness based on expanded production capacity and improved productivity.”
The official added, “We expect meaningful improvements in production stability, quality control, and cost competitiveness following the new plant’s launch,” noting, “We will expand our foundation for sustainable growth while responding flexibly to market changes.”
