[Edaily Reporter Park Jeong-soo] Unison, a company specializing in wind power generation, announced on the 4th that it had decided to issue its 18th series of convertible bonds (CB) worth 32 billion won following a board resolution on May 29. The subscription date is June 8, 2026, and the maturity date is June 8, 2028. The conversion price is 1,071 won per share, and 29,878,618 shares will be issued upon conversion. The conversion request period runs from June 8, 2027, to May 8, 2028. The raised funds consist of 8 billion won for facility investments, 10.1 billion won for working capital, and 13.9 billion won for the acquisition of securities in other companies. Unison has primarily focused on onshore wind power to date. The facility investment funds will be used to secure O&M (operation and maintenance) vessels in preparation for entering the offshore wind power market. Additionally, the working capital is scheduled to be used to secure raw materials in preparation for offshore wind power tenders. The funds for acquiring securities of other companies will be used to expand the company’s business scope through equity investments in domestic and international renewable energy projects. A company official stated, "This fundraising is intended to secure investment funds for expanding our business scope from onshore to offshore," adding, "We will focus the secured funds on strengthening our business capabilities."
