[Edaily Reporter Shin Young-bin] #LG Uplus subsidiary MediaLog, which operates the used phone sales platform “Cello,” is running an additional reward promotion for customers selling used phones in celebration of World Environment Day.
MediaLog announced on the 4th that it will provide additional benefits worth up to 60,000 won to customers who sell used phones on Cello through the 10th. During the promotion period, customers who apply for a promotion code on the Cello event page and then apply to sell their used phones can receive additional rewards based on the sale price.
If the final sale price is 100,000 won or more, customers can use a 10,000-won code; if it is 200,000 won or more, they can use a 30,000-won code. The two codes cannot be used together, and only one code can be used per sale.
Additional rewards are provided based on the number of sales requests. If you sell multiple used phones during the promotion period, you can receive benefits for each transaction.
A review event is also being held. Customers who sell a used phone to Cello and write a review on Naver Blog will receive 30,000 won in Naver Pay points.
Cello operates a contactless used phone sales service. Customers simply apply to sell online and then ship their device via courier from their preferred location.
Since users can sell their used phones without any in-person transactions, this reduces the burden of coordinating schedules that often arises in peer-to-peer transactions.
Cello operates a transparent, market-price-based purchasing system and provides settlement within 30 minutes after the device is picked up, inspected, and the purchase is confirmed.
A MediaLog Cello representative stated, “This promotion was planned to encourage the reuse of unused used phones in celebration of Environment Day and to provide additional benefits to customers,” adding, “We plan to continue introducing various benefits and services that enhance customer convenience.”
