[Edaily Reporter Kwon Oh-seok] SK Securities stated on the 5th that #KH Batec is likely to see a surge in sales in the second half of this year. However, it did not disclose an investment rating or target price. KH Batec is a manufacturer of smartphone foldable hinges (folding hinge components) and aluminum die-casting and precision-machined parts.

Park Hyung-woo, an analyst at SK Securities, stated, "It is the undisputed leader in domestic aluminum processing (including die-casting), having focused on smartphone metal cases as its core business for over a decade," and analyzed that "by 2025, the revenue breakdown will be 57% for foldable hinges, 11% for ATM assembly, 11% for telecom components, 6% for automotive parts, and 15% for others."
He further predicted, "The company is currently diversifying its business to reduce its reliance on smartphone components. We forecast 2026 revenue of 448.1 billion won (+5% year-over-year) and operating profit of 32.9 billion won (+4%). In particular, revenue is expected to rebound in the second and third quarters, which are the peak season for foldable hinges."
Specifically, the firm emphasized, “We supply 53 types of outer casings for collaborative robots used by major domestic robotics clients. This is an oligopolistic supply structure. Ultimately, we plan to integrate the supply of outer casings, gearboxes, and assembly (EMS) in Vietnam.” It added, “We aim for robotics revenue alone to reach 140–150 billion won by 2030.”
He further explained, “Starting in the second half of the year, we will begin supplying two new types of automotive parts to strategic domestic clients. Mass production is scheduled to begin in late 2026, with plans to expand our client base.” He added, “Regarding foldable hinges, new models with different aspect ratios are being added, and we expect to maintain our high market share. Steady selling prices are being sustained due to changes in materials and design.”
Analyst Park predicted that the addition of automotive and robotics revenue starting in the second half of the year will lay the groundwork for significant growth. He added, “We estimate 2027 revenue at 515.4 billion won (+15%) and operating profit at 41.1 billion won (+25%). The revenue target for 2028 is 600 billion won.”
