[Edaily Reporter Kim Yoon-jung] #Conic Automation announced on the 5th that it has been selected as a participating institution in the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment’s “Technology Development and Demonstration of Commercial-Scale Perovskite-Crystalline Silicon Tandem Modules” project.
The project is titled “Technology Development and Demonstration of Commercial-Scale Perovskite-Crystalline Silicon Tandem Modules.” The project period runs until March 31, 2029.
The total project budget is 58.73029 billion won, of which 25 billion won is government funding. The government-funded R&D budget allocated to Conic Automation is 3.5 billion won, representing 14.23% of its equity capital.
Hanwha Solutions’ Q CELLS division is serving as the lead institution for this project, which is being carried out in collaboration with nine participating organizations, including Conic Automation.
The company stated, “We plan to carry out the architectural design of an integrated experimental automation facility system, the fabrication of equipment for thin-film production, analysis, and measurement, and the development of key process modules and long-term testing facilities.” It added, “Through this, we expect to strengthen our capabilities in establishing a tandem cell material development system and developing research automation facilities.”
