Recently, the “home furnishing” trend has been gaining traction in home interior design, where people transform their spaces with lighting and accessories instead of replacing expensive furniture like beds and sofas. Lighting, in particular, is gaining attention as an interior item that can change the impression of a space at a relatively low cost.
In response to this demand, GS Shop will debut lighting products on its TV live broadcast that go beyond simply illuminating a space to reflect its atmosphere and personal taste.
The Seoul series is part of Villeroy & Boch’s urban lighting collection, inspired by the cultures of major cities worldwide, including Sydney and Bangkok. It features a minimalist design reminiscent of traditional Korean paper lanterns, available in colors such as white, olive green, charcoal, and chrome.
The products available for sale are the “Seoul 2.0” table lamp and the “Seoul Flow” floor lamp, which stands 1.2 meters tall. Both products feature built-in rechargeable batteries and can be used wirelessly after charging at a dedicated station. They are also waterproof and dustproof, making them suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. The materials used are metal, not plastic.
To celebrate the launch, GS Shop is offering a 5% discount for Shinhan Card holders who purchase during the broadcast. Villeroy & Boch wine glasses will also be given away through a drawing. Ahead of the broadcast, a “Deal Day” pre-sale event will be held on the GS Shop mobile app on the 8th.
