The unique trekking and trail running package unveiled this time bears the title “Bucket List Holic: The Most Overwhelming Track on the Great Wall.” This 3-day, 2-night “Trekking Trail Running Expedition” package allows participants to choose one of three courses (10km, half marathon, or full marathon) along the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition to running, light trekking is also available, making it accessible even for beginners with limited experience.
The itinerary departs on September 4 via Korean Air or Asiana Airlines and returns on Sunday, September 6. Accommodations are at the luxury “Jinshanling Great Wall Inn,” which offers a panoramic view of the majestic Great Wall throughout the entire stay. After the race, there will be a medal ceremony for finishers, followed by an “Official Finishers’ Party” to facilitate interaction among participants.
The itinerary also includes sightseeing tours, such as a visit to the “Summer Palace,” a representative imperial garden of China, and Beijing’s trendy cultural and arts district, “798 Art Zone.” On the morning of the third and final day, a unique program is scheduled where participants will run while admiring the beautiful sunrise over the Great Wall. Prices start at 1,159,000 KRW per person based on double occupancy, including fuel surcharges.
