Approximately 700 representatives from the Chinese and global robotics industries attended the event. The Capek Prize is an event that has been recognizing companies, institutions, and individuals who have contributed to the development of China’s robotics industry over the past decade. It is one of the most prestigious awards in the robotics sector. T-Robotics was selected as a winner in recognition of its precision control technology in the autonomous mobile robot (AMR) sector and the scalability of its Physical AI based on this technology. The company first unveiled its Physical AI-based humanoid platform, “TR-WORKS,” at the “2026 Smart Factory & Automation Industry Exhibition (AW 2026)” held last March. At the time, it also showcased collaborative robotics technologies with companies such as FANUC (Japan), THK (Japan), and Rainbow Robotics, presenting its strategy for expanding the robotics ecosystem. Currently, the company is participating in the physical AI factory demonstration project for KAIST’s AI factory integrated operation platform, ‘KAIROS.’ Through this initiative, it is advancing AI-based autonomous manufacturing and smart factory technologies. In the AMR business, the company is also expanding its references in the North American market. From 2023 to 2024, T-Robotics supplied approximately 600 AMRs to a North American battery factory, gaining experience in executing large-scale mass production projects. Recently, the company reaffirmed its competitiveness in the North American market by securing a contract worth approximately $9.88 million (about 15 billion KRW) to supply AGVs to a Ford Energy Storage System (ESS) battery production plant in the U.S. T-Robotics is expanding its smart logistics automation business, focusing on the semiconductor, secondary battery, and automotive industries. Going forward, the company plans to actively expand its Physical AI-based smart factory business, focusing on advanced process automation sectors such as ESS, data centers, and semiconductors within the North American market. A T-Robotics official stated, “We will continue to expand the supply of next-generation robot solutions in the smart factory and advanced process automation markets.”
