GS E&C to Launch Sales of ‘Baekseok Signature Xi’ in Cheonan This Month… 1,174 Units to Be Offered

[Edaily Reporter Lee Da-won] GS E&C announced on the 9th that it plans to begin sales this month for “Baekseok Signature Xi,” a project located in Baekseok 5 District, Baekseok-dong, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province. (Photo: GS E&C) Baekseok Signature Xi is a complex being developed as part of the Baekseok District 5 urban development project, with all units to be offered for general sale. The complex will consist of 13 buildings ranging from 2 basement levels to a maximum of 28 stories above ground, comprising a total of 1,174 units: 854 units in Block 1 and 320 units in Block 2.
The number of units by exclusive area is as follows: △59㎡ (50 units) △63㎡ (27 units) △74㎡ (196 units) △84㎡ (819 units) △99㎡ (78 units) △115㎡ (4 units).
The complex is located within a living area connecting Buldang-dong, Seongjeong-dong, and Dujeong-dong, allowing residents to conveniently access existing downtown infrastructure. Nearby are large retail facilities such as Costco, E-Mart, E-Mart Traders, and Lotte Mart, and administrative and cultural facilities such as Cheonan City Hall, Galleria Department Store, and Cheonan Sports Complex are also close by.
Transportation access is well-established, with easy access to major roads via Beonyeong-ro and Baekseok-ro, and convenient use of the Cheonan IC on the Gyeongbu Expressway. KTX Cheonan-Asan Station is also nearby, enabling easy travel to other regions.
In terms of educational facilities, Handul Elementary School, Hwanseo Elementary School, and Hwanseo Middle School are all within walking distance. The Baekseok-dong academy district is accessible on foot, and the Buldang-dong academy district—considered the largest in South Chungcheong Province—is also nearby. Songgol Park, Mount Notae, and Notae Neighborhood Park are close by, providing a pleasant residential environment.
The proximity to workplaces is also a key advantage. Major corporate offices, including Samsung SDI, Samsung Electronics, and Samsung Display, are located near the complex. With Cheonan General Industrial Complexes 2, 3, and 4, the Foreign-Invested Industrial Complex, and the Baekseok Agricultural-Industrial Complex nearby, housing demand from industrial complex workers is expected.
GS E&C explained that it has enhanced the product appeal of Baekseok Signature Xi by applying a 4- to 4.5-bay cross-ventilation design to all units, ensuring ample natural light and ventilation. Additionally, it has expanded storage space by incorporating features such as alpha rooms, pantries, and walk-in closets depending on the unit type.
The community facility, ‘Club Zian,’ is scheduled to feature a fitness center, sauna, café lounge, sunken plaza, study room, small library, indoor golf practice range, screen golf, and guest house. A sky lounge is also planned for the 28th floor, the top floor of Building 101.
The model home for Baekseok Signature Xi is scheduled to be set up in the area around 1517 Buldang-dong, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, with occupancy expected in 2029.
A GS E&C official stated, “Baekseok Signature Xi boasts an excellent location that allows residents to enjoy the best of both the new and old downtown areas of Buldang,” adding, “As this is the first Xi apartment complex to be built in Baekseok-dong, where large-scale apartment developments have been rare, we are devoting our utmost effort to perfecting the project.”
