[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon] #KNS subsidiary Eunseong FA has been selected as a primary partner of German global mobility company Aumovio, accelerating its push into the global automotive electronics automation equipment market.

KNS announced on the 9th that Eunseong FA, a company specializing in high-speed terminal insertion automation equipment for semiconductors and automotive electronics, has been named a Tier 1 partner of Aumovio. With this selection, Eunseong FA has secured the opportunity to be the preferred supplier of high-speed terminal insertion automation equipment for semiconductors and automotive electronics to Aumovio.

Aumobio is a global mobility company spun off from the former Continental Automotive Group division. It supplies a wide range of automotive solutions, including sensors, displays, advanced braking systems, SDVs (software-defined vehicles), and autonomous driving platforms, and counts major domestic and international automakers among its customers.

Eunseong FA previously participated in "Productronica China 2026," held in Shanghai, China, last March, where it conducted numerous B2B meetings with global automotive parts companies, including Aumovio. At the event, the company showcased its high-precision, high-speed terminal insertion machines for next-generation PCBs and FPCBs, demonstrating its technological capabilities.

Terminal insertion machines are automated devices that mount terminal pins and fuses onto PCBs and FPCBs with high speed and precision. Market demand is growing as their application areas have recently expanded beyond automobiles and home appliances to include secondary batteries, robotics, and semiconductors.

Eunseong FA has established a dominant position in the domestic terminal pin and fuse inserter market. In particular, the company successfully localized the third-generation automatic inserter—the first of its kind in Korea—capable of inserting up to 15 pins per second, and is now making a full-scale entry into the global market, which has traditionally been dominated by German and Japanese firms.

An Eunsung FA official stated, “The latest high-speed terminal inserter we showcased at Proelectronica China received high praise, and following subsequent partnership discussions, we were selected as a primary partner,” adding, “This is a result of our equipment’s performance and our business responsiveness being recognized.”

They added, “The terminal inserter market has long been dominated by German and Japanese companies,” noting that “this selection is a significant achievement demonstrating that our equipment has secured the performance and quality competitiveness to rival global competitors.”

Meanwhile, Eunseong FA is working with its parent company, KNS, to advance physical AI-based process automation technology and plans to actively respond to the growing demand for high-speed, high-precision automation equipment, particularly in the semiconductor and mobility sectors.
