[Edaily Reporter Shin Su-jeong] HiteJinro is planning to launch a bottled version of its non-alcoholic beer, “Terra Zero.” This move aims to expand its non-alcoholic product line into the entertainment sector, where bottled beer consumption is high. However, details such as the product’s volume, launch date, and price have not yet been finalized.

According to the liquor industry on the 9th, #HiteJinro is preparing to launch a bottled version of Terra Zero. Terra Zero is a non-alcoholic beer brand that HiteJinro introduced last March. Until now, sales have been centered on canned products.

A HiteJinro official confirmed, “It is true that we are launching a bottled version of Terra Zero,” but added, “Specific details such as volume, launch timing, and price are still under review.”

HiteJinro’s decision to prepare a bottled version of Terra Zero stems from its assessment that demand for non-alcoholic beer is expanding beyond the home market into the entertainment sector. In general bars and restaurants, consumption of bottled beer remains high. Non-alcoholic products must also be released in bottle form to be easily displayed and sold alongside existing beer products.

In particular, bottled products can be offered as an option alongside regular beer in restaurants and bars. Another advantage is that they can attract not only non-drinkers but also consumers looking to moderate their alcohol intake.

An industry insider stated, “Non-alcoholic beer is not just a product for non-drinkers; it can also serve as an option for consumers who wish to moderate their alcohol intake during social gatherings,” adding, “As bottled products become more widespread, the visibility of non-alcoholic beer in entertainment venues will also increase.”
