[Edaily Reporter Park Jeong-soo] #HumanTechnology has postponed its merger with its wholly-owned subsidiary, Human Agos, and is stepping up efforts to strengthen its competitiveness in securing anti-drone business contracts.

Human Technology announced on the 10th that it is changing the merger date with Human Agos from the original June 30 to September 1. The company explained that this schedule adjustment was decided to ensure it stably meets the bidding requirements for the public sector anti-drone system procurement project currently underway and to enhance its competitiveness in securing contracts.
Human Agos supplies integrated anti-drone solutions that link detection, tracking, and response equipment based on RF scanners, smart jammers, and spoofers. With demand for anti-drone systems expanding recently, particularly for key national facilities and energy infrastructure, the company is pursuing technological advancement and business expansion while also strengthening cooperation with major defense contractors.
The ongoing public sector anti-drone system procurement project is expected to proceed in July or August, as the selection of the winning bidder and the signing of the contract have been delayed beyond initial expectations due to changes in the selection process.
Human Technology adjusted the merger schedule after determining that uncertainty regarding bidding eligibility and contract procedures could arise if Human Agos were to be dissolved due to the merger during the bidding period. However, the company stated that there are no changes to the merger ratio or key terms, and that preparations for the integration are proceeding as originally planned.
A company official stated, “This schedule adjustment is not due to issues with the merger process, but rather a strategic decision to stably meet the requirements for participating in public projects and maximize shareholder value.” The official added, “Once Human Agos’ anti-drone technology and business foundation are integrated into Human Technology following the merger, we plan to cultivate the anti-drone business as a core growth engine and begin a full-scale push into the public, defense, energy, and industrial infrastructure security markets.”
