Naver announced on the 11th that it will live-stream all matches of the 2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup, taking place from June 12 to July 20 (KST), on its streaming platform Chizich.
This World Cup is the first in history to feature 48 participating nations, with a total of 104 matches scheduled. Naver will broadcast all matches via Chizik and operate a ‘Watch Together’ channel featuring popular streamers and creators.
Various creator channels, including Han Dong-sook, Wolf, Shoot for Love, E-Star TV, Channel 15ya, and PlayV, will participate in the co-viewing sessions. Naver plans to enhance the shared viewing experience by combining real-time chat with a culture of cheering.
In addition to live broadcasts, Naver will provide World Cup-related short-form and highlight content. During matches, it will offer real-time AI-generated short clips, and after matches, it will quickly upload on-demand (VOD) highlights organized by player and match, allowing users who missed the live broadcast to catch key moments.
It will also introduce AI Briefings based on official FIFA data. Before matches, it will provide starting lineups, key points to watch, and tactical analysis, while during and after matches, it will offer match flow updates, player ratings, highlights, and match analysis. Naver plans to integrate AI Briefings into World Cup search results and special World Cup services to help users grasp match information more easily.
Starting on the 12th, users watching broadcasts in the soccer, “FC Online,” and “FC Mobile” categories on Chizichik will be able to play three “FC Online”-based mini-games directly within the broadcast screen.
Naver also plans to provide personalized Nexon game content within the Chizichik interface through data integration with Nexon. The goal is to display tailored banners reflecting users’ interests and gameplay history, encouraging streaming viewers to engage with the games.
A dedicated World Cup community feature will also be launched. Naver is setting up a World Cup lounge where soccer fans and experts can cheer, analyze, and discuss the tournament. Additionally, it plans to provide various real-time data—such as win probabilities, predictions for the winning team, match and player statistics, and projected advancement odds by round—to deliver World Cup-related information quickly and accurately.
Naver is also collaborating with Coca-Cola, an official FIFA sponsor, to host a “World Cup Match Prediction” event. Participants who correctly predict the results of all matches in each round will receive up to 1 million won in Naver Pay points. If multiple participants successfully predict all matches, the prize will be divided equally among them; if no one wins, the prize rolls over to the next round, increasing to a maximum of 8 million won.
Ten participants who enter all matches and achieve a prediction success rate of 70% or higher will each receive 200,000 won in Naver Pay points. Coca-Cola coupons will also be distributed via a random drawing to 83,000 participants in the prediction event.
Benefits have also been prepared for new Naver Plus Membership subscribers. New subscribers with no usage history within the last 90 days can watch live broadcasts of all World Cup matches and receive a coupon pack worth up to 10,000 won for the Naver Plus Store, as well as a 3,000-won discount coupon for Kurly N Mart.
Meanwhile, high-definition live broadcasts of all World Cup matches will be available to Naver Plus Membership or Chizichik Cheat Key subscribers. Non-members can also watch South Korea’s national team matches in standard definition.
