[Edaily Reporter Park Jeong-soo] #InnoGen, a developer of anti-aging solutions, is expanding its business scope by fostering its care food business as a new growth engine.

Innojin announced on the 11th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Daremdalum, a company specializing in functional ingredient infusion technology, to formally enter the biotechnology-based care food market.
Notably, the two companies had been collaborating on business projects even before the formal agreement was signed, and Innojin explained that it recorded sales of 699 million won in March through the supply of high-functionality agricultural raw materials. The company assessed this performance as evidence confirming the market potential and profitability of the care food business.
Through this collaboration, Innojin will expand its business portfolio beyond its existing focus on hair loss treatment and skin regeneration into the “edible anti-aging” market.
The two companies plan to pursue joint research and development by combining Innojin’s expertise in anti-aging and hair loss care with Daremdalum’s functional ingredient infusion technology.
Innojin plans to sequentially launch functional care food products utilizing natural ingredients such as tomatoes and black beans. In particular, the company intends to expand its product line based on black beans, which are gaining attention as an ingredient for hair loss care.
Dareumdalum operates the functional agricultural products brand "WhatTheFruits" and was recently selected as an "A-Venture" by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, a designation for outstanding venture startups.
An Innojin official stated, “Even before the business agreement, we recorded sales of approximately 700 million won, confirming the growth potential of this new business,” adding, “We plan to diversify our revenue streams and strengthen our foundation for mid- to long-term growth through the care food business.”
