Lotte Hi-Mart Names Executive Vice President Kim Jong-yoon as New CEO

[Edaily Reporter Kim Jeong-yu] #Lotte Hi-Mart announced on the 12th that it has nominated Vice President Kim Jong-yoon (pictured) as its new CEO.

Kim has held positions at Google, McKinsey & Company, and Yanolja, where he was involved in business strategy, marketing, and new business development.

In particular, at Yanolja, he served as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Chief Business Officer (CBO), and CEO of Yanolja Cloud.

Kim is regarded as a hands-on CEO capable of driving business innovation based on his experience in global business operations.

He is expected to accelerate the innovation of Lotte Hi-Mart’s business model as the company steps up its efforts to restructure its operations.

Nam Chang-hee, who has led Lotte Hi-Mart since December 2022, has tendered his resignation for personal reasons.

Meanwhile, Lotte recently shifted from a year-end regular executive appointment system to a rolling executive appointment system.
