“Geoje Yaho”… Lisenne Won-yi’s Down-to-Earth ‘Son Min-soo Item’ [Who’s Item]

Following the attention she garnered from the “Geoje Yaho” meme, her natural off-duty outfits showcased in the video are also drawing attention. The items Woni wore are being called “Son Min-soo items” (a term meaning “items you want to buy just because,” derived from the character Son Min-soo in the webtoon “Cheese in the Trap,” who copies the protagonist’s style).

Lysanne, a five-member girl group that debuted in 2024, has recently been boosting its public recognition through Won-i’s personal YouTube channel, “Hello, I’m Won-i. Nice to meet you.” This surge is attributed to the viral spread of addictive online content, including Won-i’s dialect-based videos—she hails from Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province—and the “Geoje Yaho” meme created by Minami, who embodies a Japanese “gal” concept.

The number of subscribers to Won-i’s YouTube channel surpassed 760,000 in just over a month. In particular, the first episode of “Gyaru and Geoje” surpassed 6 million views within ten days of its release, and the second episode also exceeded 3 million views within three days of its release.

The buzz that started on YouTube also impacted music charts. Lisenne’s debut song “Love Attack” made a comeback, entering the “Top 10” on domestic music platforms two years after its release. As the meme and her character have boosted the group’s recognition, attention is also focusing on the fashion styles Won-i showcases both on and off camera.

In the Geoje video, Won-i wore a matching tracksuit set. Fans responded enthusiastically with comments like, “It looks like she just stepped out of her house,” and “A down-to-earth Geoje girl look.” The top worn by Won-i is the “Sporty NY Track Top” from NDY, a fashion brand operated by #APR, priced at 99,000 won. The bottom is the brand’s “Classic NY Track Pants,” priced at 89,000 won. She paired this with the “Classic Platform Clog Women” from Crocs, a brand famous for its casual sandal-style slippers.

In addition, fans are sharing information about the items seen in Won-yi’s daily photos posted on YouTube and online, using her off-duty fashion as a reference. A prime example that has sparked buzz is a short-sleeve T-shirt featuring the dog character Ganadi. The product worn by Won-yi is a collaboration item between SPO, an SPA brand operated by E-Land World, and Ganadi. It is priced at 25,900 won. It is believed that the combination of a cute design featuring character graphics and a reasonable price point has drawn attention from fans.

Her airport blouse look also drew attention. The blouse Won-i wore upon arrival is Iligo’s “Ribbon Tie Square Neck Blouse Gray.” Featuring a square neckline and ribbon tie details, it is priced in the 70,000 won range.

Additionally, the denim pants worn by Won-i are currently sold out. In a video on the YouTube channel “Tteoksang Jeon Seongsu Nadeuri,” Won-i wore dark-colored denim pants with light-colored wash accents. The item is Synergy’s “Night Washed Denim Pants Black” from NJN, priced at 119,000 won.

A key feature of Won-i’s fashion is that it centers on reasonably priced items around 100,000 won rather than high-end luxury brands. Furthermore, her style is not overly elaborate but rather natural and easy to emulate in everyday life. Furthermore, unlike her innocent and polished image on stage, Won-i showcases a comfortable and down-to-earth off-duty style in her content. This contrast is seen as refreshing and has been credited with reinforcing Won-i’s unique, approachable personality.
