BH Rises 13% on Strong Second-Quarter Earnings Forecast [Featured Stock]

[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon] #BH is surging by over 13% in early trading.
According to MP Doctor on the 16th, as of 9:04 a.m. today, BH is trading at 30,350 won, up 13.25% from the previous trading day.
This is interpreted as a result of investor sentiment being stimulated by forecasts from the securities industry that the launch of Apple’s foldable phone and the company’s entry into the humanoid (robot) business will coincide, leading to simultaneous improvements in earnings and corporate value.
In a report released today, Park Kang-ho, an analyst at Daishin Securities, stated, “Second-quarter operating profit is expected to reach 15.1 billion won, exceeding market consensus,” adding, “Even during the off-season, strong sales of the Apple iPhone 17 and increased revenue from automotive wireless charging modules are expected to drive results that exceed consensus for two consecutive quarters.” He further assessed, “With strong results in both the first and second quarters, it is time to focus on the company breaking its record performance in the third quarter, as well as in 2026 and 2027.”
In particular, he predicted that Apple’s foldable phone would become a new growth driver. Analyst Park explained, “As Apple is set to launch its first foldable phone, BH will supply large-area RF PCBs, benefiting from higher average selling prices (ASP) and additional revenue.”
He added, “Supply of RF PCBs for foldable phones began as early as late May and has maintained stable yields,” noting, “Apple is the only global smartphone manufacturer expected to grow this year, and we anticipate expanded sales of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max in the second half of the year, along with improvements in product mix.”
The company’s entry into the robotics and humanoid sectors was also cited as a factor for valuation reassessment. Analyst Park noted, “The automotive wireless charging module business is expanding beyond automobiles into the humanoid sector,” pointing out that “related revenue began to be reflected for the first time starting in the second quarter, as the company began supplying wireless charging modules to a U.S.-based humanoid company in which a domestic firm holds a stake.”
