[Edaily Reporter Kim Jeong-yu] With the “2026 North and Central America World Cup” currently underway, demand for “everyday fan outfits” is on the rise in the domestic fashion industry. As morning matches have brought about changes in fan culture, a trend of naturally showing support while commuting to work or going about daily life has recently been gaining traction. Photo: LF #LF announced on the 17th that it has recently expanded its lineup of products that offer a modern reinterpretation of sports style through its classic casual brand “Hazzys” and sports brand “Reebok.”
In fact, for this year’s Spring/Summer (SS) season, the company unveiled the “Glory Days Capsule Collection,” inspired by British soccer in 1966. The collection centers on timeless confidence and team culture.
Demand is also growing for the “Neo-Preppy” style, which combines sports heritage with classic aesthetics. These pieces feature the distinctive color schemes of sports uniforms and reflect sports heritage, while incorporating pique fabric and embroidered details to ensure they can be worn naturally in everyday life.
Additionally, in time for the World Cup cheering season, Hazzys has expanded the use of red—the symbolic color of the South Korean national soccer team—across a variety of products, including shirts, pique T-shirts, and knitwear. As a result, sales of red items from last month through the first week of this month increased by 30% compared to the same period last year.
As the excitement surrounding the team’s victory in their first match on the 12th has intensified, sales at department store locations have also seen double-digit growth compared to the same period last year. Hazzys also ran a three-day promotion from the 12th to the 14th, offering discounts of up to 30% on end-of-season styles.
Reebok has strengthened its product lineup centered on sports jerseys to coincide with the World Cup season. For this year’s SS season, approximately 30% of its overall sports jersey color lineup consists of red shades.
A company representative stated, “Recently, more consumers are expressing their support through their everyday style rather than purchasing separate cheering outfits,” adding, “Especially for morning matches, a culture has emerged where people naturally join in cheering on their way to work or even at the office, and styles that reinterpret the sports vibe into everyday wear are receiving a positive response.”
