42% Pure Vitamin C… Izanox’s ‘Vita Balm’

Co-developed with influencer Hohobuty

[Edaily Reporter Kyung Gye-young] #LG Household & Health Care’s Izanox announced on the 17th that it has launched the “Izanox Vitamin C 42% Melanoff Balm” (Vita Balm), which features a higher vitamin C content to help improve dark spots.

Developed in collaboration with beauty influencer HoHo Beauty, VitaBam embodies Izanox’s 30 years of research and technology in vitamin efficacy. It contains 42% pure vitamin C with not a single drop of water added. By applying a special process involving micro-coating of vitamin C and oil dispersion, the product minimizes discoloration, odor, and stickiness, and its antioxidant efficacy remains intact even after 800 hours of exposure to a high temperature of 50°C.

Izanoks explained that since 99.7% of VitaBam’s total ingredients are active ingredients, it improves not only dark spots and blemishes but also skin tone, texture, and radiance. In clinical trials, after four weeks of use, dark spots showed a 29.7% reduction in area, a 24.5% reduction in number, and a 23% reduction in intensity, demonstrating improvements on par with professional dermatological treatments.

During a live broadcast held on the 9th to celebrate the launch of VitaBam, the entire stock sold out in just five minutes.

An LG Household & Health Care representative in charge of Izanox stated, “We reviewed consumer feedback from multiple angles to alleviate concerns about irritation and stability associated with high-concentration vitamin C, and we’ve created a ‘practical high-concentration solution’ that’s easy to use in daily life.” They added, “Based on Izanox’s unique expertise in vitamin research, we will continue to introduce safe and effective anti-aging solutions.”
