ROAS to Host Global Robotics Forum on the 24th

Event Held in Yongsan on the Theme of “Embedded AI” Global Companies Including Unitrie and Agile Robot Participate Sharing Case Studies on the Application of Humanoid and Physical AI in Industry Latest Robotics Technology Unveiled at Live Demo Booth

[Edaily Reporter Shin Young-bin] #Clobot’s robotics solutions subsidiary, ROAS, announced on the 17th that it will host the “ROAS Global Robotics Forum 2026 (GRF 2026)” on the 24th at the Peace & Park Convention Center in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

Now in its second year, this forum will be held under the theme “Embodied AI: Real-world in Action.” It is designed to explore how physical AI and embodied AI technologies are being applied in actual industrial settings and daily life, and to assess their industrial value and commercialization potential.

Approximately 300 participants are expected to attend the forum, including representatives from the robotics industry, academia, relevant government agencies, and venture capital (VC) firms. Speakers will include representatives from global robotics companies, domestic industrial AI and robotics firms, and investment experts.

Unitree will be represented by key executives from its headquarters, including Irving Chen, Head of Global Sales, who will introduce next-generation humanoid robot technology and future business strategies. Andreas Spenninger, Managing Director of Industrialization and Safety at AgileRobot, will also speak at the event.

In addition, EmbodiDeep, a company offering robotic performance solutions that combine generative AI with humanoid robots, and Discover Robotics—an embedded AI company spun off from Tsinghua University’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence Industry—will participate to present trends in physical AI technology.

In the domestic session, companies such as Superb AI, Lotte Innovate, and Safetix will present. They plan to share case studies of applying robotics and AI technologies in real-world industrial settings.

Lee Jong-hyun, Managing Director at StoneBridge Ventures, will host a special session titled “The Inflection Point of Robotics Investment: Why 2026 Is the Real Beginning,” analyzing the growth potential and business opportunities in the robotics industry from an investment perspective.

From the academic community, Professor Oh Hye-jin of Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) will participate as a speaker in an online webinar. Professor Oh is scheduled to share academic insights on the future direction of physical AI and human-robot interaction (HRI).

A large-scale hands-on exhibition area will also be set up on-site. A total of 12 booths will showcase the latest technology demos and new products from domestic and international robotics companies and startups.

Visitors will also be able to see Unitree’s H2 Plus full-body model—an open-source humanoid robot reference product—as well as the Auster 3D LiDAR Rev. 8, introduced as a next-generation physical AI and autonomous driving sensor platform.

Roas plans to develop this forum into a collaborative platform for the global robotics ecosystem. The goal is to create opportunities for collaboration that bridge hardware and software, as well as AI and robotics application technologies, leading to tangible business results in industrial settings.

Joo Yong, CEO of ROAS, stated, “GRF 2026 will serve as a venue to build a collaborative ecosystem that breaks down the boundaries between hardware and software, and to confirm the industrial impact where tangible business value is demonstrated beyond mere potential.”
