[Edaily Reporter Han Gwang-beom] LG CNS (#LGCNES) is embarking on comprehensive business cooperation with #Doosan in areas such as AI, robotics, data centers, and cloud computing.

LG CNS and Doosan signed a “Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to Secure Global Competitiveness in New Businesses, Including AX, RX, Data Centers, and Cloud” on the 18th at the LG Science Park in Magok, Seoul. The signing ceremony was attended by key executives from both companies, including LG CNS CEO Hyun Shin-kyun and Doosan President Yoo Seung-woo.

Under this agreement, the two companies plan to form a business cooperation task force within one month of the signing date to combine their respective core competencies and establish detailed operational plans. For AX cooperation, they plan to establish a business roadmap to strengthen Doosan’s Agentic AI competitiveness based on LG CNS’s enterprise Agentic AI platform, “AgenticWorks.” Collaboration in the RX sector will also be explored.

The companies will also seek synergies in the data center and cloud businesses. While leveraging LG CNS’s cloud and data center technologies to upgrade Doosan’s IT infrastructure, they will also discuss plans to integrate hydrogen fuel cells into LG CNS’s data center operations. Furthermore, the two companies will pursue Manufacturing AX by applying digital twin technology to maximize the efficiency of manufacturing equipment throughout its lifecycle. They also plan to collaborate on logistics businesses utilizing eco-friendly mobility solutions.

Yoo Seung-woo, President of Doosan, stated, “By combining Doosan Corporation’s advanced technological capabilities, built up in the fields of advanced materials and energy, with LG CNS’s AX capabilities, we will establish a next-generation business model that leads the global market.” He added, “Through this collaboration, which spans everything from data centers to robots and AI, we will maximize the future value of both companies.”

Hyun Shin-kyun, CEO of LG CNS, said, “We will create synergies by combining LG CNS’s unrivaled AX and RX capabilities with the technological expertise of our strong partner, Doosan.” He added, “We will quickly deliver tangible results through this collaboration, leading to actual commercialization—from AI-based predictive maintenance of manufacturing equipment to industrial innovation utilizing robots.”
