[Edaily Reporter Lee So-hyun] Naver (#NAVER) is launching “Naver Sale,” its biggest shopping promotion of the first half of the year, and expanding discount benefits for app and membership users.

Naver announced on the 19th that it will hold “Neopda Sale,” the flagship shopping event of the Naver Plus Store, for two weeks from the 22nd to the 5th of next month.

“Neopda Sale” is a large-scale shopping promotion offering products and discounts on the Naver Plus Store. It is held twice a year, in the first and second halves of the year. This event, which was first introduced last year, is a revamped version of the former “Naver Shopping Festa,” utilizing the initial consonant “Neop” from “Naver Plus Store.” During the event held in the second half of last year, cumulative sales exceeded 1 trillion won.

A key feature of this year’s first-half Neotda Sale is that it offers benefits exclusive to the Naver Plus Store app alongside benefits tailored for Naver Plus Membership users. The Naver Plus Store app is used by more than 8 million shoppers monthly. Naver emphasized that it structured the event so that customers who pay through the app can receive even more benefits.

Naver is running a pre-event period until the 21st. During this period, 15% and 7% discount coupons will be provided every day at 11:00 a.m. The coupons can be used on the 22nd, the first day of the main event.

During the main event period, from the 22nd to the 5th of next month, 10%, 7%, and 5% discount coupons will be issued daily at midnight on a first-come, first-served basis. All coupons provided during the event period can be obtained via the Naver Plus Store website and app and can be used when paying through the Naver Plus Store app.

A special product showcase has also been organized. The “100 Lowest Price Challenges” section, which introduces 100 new popular Smart Store products every day, features items across various categories such as home appliances, furniture, fashion, and beauty. Products from home appliance and furniture brands like Ilum, Home & Hill, and Samsung Electronics, as well as fashion and beauty brands such as SPAO, Hunter, Primera, and La Roche-Posay, will be highlighted with a focus on the lowest prices.

Collaborative merchandise featuring “Taek-i,” the mascot of Naver Plus Store, will also be unveiled. Taek-i has teamed up with brands such as Kenview, Lumena, Nuldam, and LG Household & Health Care to create limited-edition merchandise sets. For example, customers who purchase Listerine mouthwash will receive a Taek-i insulated bag as a gift, and those who buy Neutrogena Ultra Moisturizing Body Lotion will receive a Taek-i pouch.

Every day at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., the “Neotda Original” time-limited sale event will take place. Products from major brands such as Apple and Hera will be sold in limited quantities exclusively on Naver. Two products will be unveiled each session, covering a variety of categories including kids, food & health, fashion, digital & home appliances, and e-coupons.

Exclusive product bundles for the Neotda Sale have also been prepared. Daily necessities brands such as Huggies and Bebesup will offer essential parenting products at discounts of 40% or more. Home appliance brands like Cuckoo and KojiMa plan to feature popular home appliances at discounts of 60% or more.
