According to MP Doctor on the 19th, as of 9:16 a.m., CP System is trading at 3,195 won—the daily price limit—up 29.88% from the previous trading day.
Earlier that day, the company issued a press release stating, “We have supplied our high-purity cable protection solution, ‘G-CleanChain,’ for domestic semiconductor edge grinder equipment being deployed at Intel’s local factories.” The equipment fitted with this product is scheduled to undergo final inspection and be shipped to Intel’s semiconductor factories in the U.S.
An edge grinder is a key processing machine that precisely grinds the edges of semiconductor wafers or substrates to reduce micro-chipping and improve yield.
The G-Clean Cable Chain applied to the equipment is a high-purity product that has obtained “ISO Class 1” certification—the highest cleanroom rating—from the reputable German certification body “Fraunhofer IPA.” It is designed not only to reliably protect cables and hoses inside the equipment but also to minimize friction dust and cable interference that can occur during high-speed, repetitive operation.
CP System plans to use this Intel reference design as a springboard to accelerate its expansion into the high-end semiconductor market.
