The CJ Donors Camp Sports Day is an annual corporate social responsibility program designed to support physical activity and teamwork experiences for children at local children’s centers. This year, approximately 2,500 children from 120 local children’s centers nationwide and about 210 employees of CJ Corp. participated in the preliminary and final rounds.

The event was divided into the Challenge League (preliminary round) and the Champion League (final round). A total of six online preliminary rounds were held last May, with eight local children’s centers advancing to the finals.

The finals were attended by children from the eight regional children’s centers, approximately 200 accompanying teachers, and about 110 employees of CJ Corp. Employees from eight affiliates—CJ CheilJedang Corp., CJ Foodville, CJ Freshway Corporation, CJ LOGISTICS, CJ Olive Young, CJ Olive Networks, CJ ENM CO., Ltd., and CJ OnStyle—formed teams with the children to compete in the games.

The sports day consisted of team events such as “Vision Tower Building,” “Wind-Catching Special Forces,” “Sky-High Shot,” and “Hot Air Balloon Relay.” A cheerleading performance by the Sunflower Regional Children’s Center was also held during the event.

Dancers Aiki and Hyojin Choi participated as “Cultural Dream Makers” for the day and put on a celebratory performance. The two also joined in on a “Random Play” dance and took commemorative photos with the children to cheer them on.

A CJ Corp. Donors Camp representative stated, “Thanks to the active participation of the children and youth at the community children’s centers and the keen interest shown by CJ Corp. employees, this year’s sports day was able to conclude on a meaningful note.” The representative added, “As opportunities to experience group physical activities, such as school sports days, are becoming increasingly rare, we will continue to consistently support activities that allow children at community children’s centers to run, cooperate, and grow up healthy.”
