[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] YoungLimWon SoftLab. Co., Ltd.(060850)has identified connectivity between data, business processes, and systems as the key to future competitiveness in enterprise software in the AI era.

YoungLimWon SoftLab. Co., Ltd. announced on the 22nd that it successfully concluded the “EBSC 2026 (Enterprise Business Solution Conference 2026),” held on the 18th at the InterContinental Parnas in Seoul.

Held for the first time this year, the event was themed “The AI Era: What Disappears and What Remains” and was attended by approximately 700 participants, including corporate executives and professionals responsible for digital transformation (DX) and IT.

A key topic discussed at the event was that, even amid the proliferation of generative AI, the core of corporate competitiveness lies in the connectivity between data, business processes, and systems. In particular, it was emphasized that corporate data accumulated primarily through ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems serves as the foundation for AI utilization, enabling the advancement of business automation and data-driven decision-making.

In his opening remarks, Park Seong-joong, Chairman of the Korea Productivity Center, stated, “Productivity innovation in the AI era is not merely the adoption of technology, but a qualitative transformation based on data and AI,” adding, “ERP will serve as the core foundation for corporate data utilization.”

In his keynote address, Professor Kwon Heon-young of the Graduate School of Information Security at Korea University emphasized that, as data has established itself as a new means of production, building a foundation for systematically managing and utilizing data is more important than the adoption of AI itself.

Park Mi-kyung, CEO of FORCS Co., Ltd., presented case studies on electronic document automation using generative AI and AI agents, outlining a future work environment where tasks ranging from document creation to search and approval are processed using natural language.

Ho Woong-ki, Executive Vice President of the Future Value Realization Division at YoungLimWon SoftLab. Co., Ltd., noted that the proliferation of generative AI and Agent AI is making it increasingly difficult to differentiate software based on functionality alone. He assessed that the future competitiveness of enterprise software will depend on the connectivity between data, business processes, and solutions.

He predicted that a “Connected Solutions” ecosystem—in which various specialized solutions and AI agents are organically linked around an ERP system—will determine future corporate competitiveness.

Major domestic enterprise software companies, including DaouTechnology, GABIA, Inc., FORCS Co., Ltd., Bizplay, NICE Evaluation Information, and Upstage, also participated in the event to share AI use cases and digital innovation strategies.

Kwon Young-beom, CEO of YoungLimWon SoftLab. Co., Ltd., stated, “While AI is changing the way we work, what ultimately determines a company’s competitiveness is still accurately accumulated and managed data, business processes, and the systems that connect them.” He added, “We will continue to advance our ‘action-oriented platform’ strategy, in which data, business operations, and AI are organically connected around ERP.”
