[Edaily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] LG CNS (#LGCNES) showcased its Agent-based AI platform and use cases for hyper-large AI models aimed at driving the public sector’s AI transformation (AX).

LG Corp. announced that it participated in the “9th e-Government Day Commemoration Ceremony and 2026 Public AI Expo,” held at Hall 2 of KINTEX in Ilsan from the 23rd to the 24th.

This event is a public AI initiative organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the National Information Society Agency (NIA). It was organized with the aim of disseminating best practices in public AI, strengthening public-private cooperation, and identifying demand for public AI.

At the exhibition, LG CNS operated an interactive public AX experience booth that integrated its proprietary Agent AI platform, “AgenticWorks,” with LG AI Research’s super-large AI model, “EXAONE.” The company showcased a range of AI applications—from generative AI to task-executing AI agents and AI security—that public institutions can implement in their actual operations.

The AgenticWorks exhibit showcased a service architecture based on six modules and presented case studies of AI agents understanding work procedures and then performing actual public sector tasks using the necessary tools and data.

Visitors were able to experience an AI call center simulation to see how AI agents can be applied to public service tasks such as consultations and handling public complaints. This experience was designed based on AgenticWorks customer service use cases scheduled for implementation at public institutions overseas.

An AI security framework was also introduced. Through AgenticWorks Guardrail, LG Corp. presented a system for security, data protection, and response control to enable public institutions to safely utilize AI. The company also unveiled AI security risk response scenarios through a Guardrail dashboard demonstration and application videos.

At the EXAONE exhibition, the company introduced EXAONE 4.5—Korea’s first multimodal model—as well as K-EXAONE, currently under development, and ChatEXAONE, a conversational generative AI service.

ChatEXAONE is equipped with enterprise Agent AI capabilities designed to boost work productivity for corporate and public sector users. The exhibition featured actual user feedback from LG Corp. employees, analyses based on internal documents, and in-depth research case studies, along with examples of its application in tasks such as document drafting, data summarization, and information retrieval. Visitors were also able to experience firsthand the process of continuously revising and refining AI-generated drafts to complete final work deliverables.

LG CNS also participated in the AI Leading Companies Innovation Forum during the event. Lim Eun-young, Head of the Agent-based AI Business at LG CNS, delivered a presentation titled “Beyond Generative AI to Agent-based AI: A New Direction for Public Sector Innovation,” introducing the platform architecture, governance, security, and scalability strategies required for public institutions to adopt and operate agent-based AI.
