Although BohaeBrewery was recently designated as a “stock under investment warning” due to its steep upward trend, it has continued its strong performance for five consecutive trading days through today.

According to MP Doctor, as of 9:10 a.m. today, BohaeBrewery was trading at 3,950 won—up 910 won (29.93%) from the previous trading day—hitting the daily price limit.

BohaeBrewery has been on a five-day winning streak since the 18th, when its stock was trading in the 1,400-won range. Amid growing expectations that the Honam region will attract a semiconductor factory, Jangseong County in South Jeolla Province has been mentioned as one of the candidate sites, leading to a surge in buying interest in BohaeBrewery, which owns real estate in the area.

Following its designation of BohaeBrewery as a “stock requiring caution” the previous day, the exchange designated it as a “stock under investment warning” after the market closed. The exchange cited the fact that the previous day’s closing price had risen by more than 60% compared to the closing price five days prior, that it was the highest closing price among the last 15 trading days, and that the stock’s five-day price increase was more than five times the rise in the stock index (sector index) over the same period.
