Medy-Tox Inc. Secures Successive Product Approvals in Latin America... Building Out Its Neuramis and Filler Lineup

"Three Types of 'Filler Attier' Approved in the Dominican Republic"

[Edaily Reporter Kim Seung-kwon ] Medy-Tox Inc.(086900)is targeting the Central and South American markets with its hyaluronic acid filler “Attier.”

According to the biotech industry on the 25th, Medy-Tox Inc. has obtained product approval for three varieties of Attier from the Dominican Republic’s General Directorate of Medicines, Food, and Health Products (DIGEMAPS).

Attier is a hyaluronic acid filler developed in-house by Medy-Tox Inc. The company stated that it optimized the combination of elasticity and viscosity using proprietary technology and reduced the risk of viral infection by excluding animal-derived culture media and enzymes from the manufacturing process.

Medy-Tox Inc. has established a diverse lineup of fillers consisting of Attier and Neuramis, a hyaluronic acid filler that has been building a strong presence in the Dominican Republic since 2017. Medy-Tox Inc. plans to leverage the sales and marketing expertise it has accumulated through Neuramis to ensure the successful market launch of the three Attier products: “Attier Classic,” “Intensive,” and “Volume.” The company also plans to expand its market share in the local market by enhancing synergies with “Newlux,” the next-generation toxin product developed by its affiliate, Newmeco.

The beauty industry in the Dominican Republic is showing growth in line with economic expansion and rising per capita income. As Hallyu (Korean Wave) content spreads, preference for HANKOOKCOSMETICS and other products is increasing, and interest in the K-Medical Aesthetics market and its products is also growing.

Medy-Tox Inc. officials stated, “Attier’s entry into Central and South America has given momentum to our overseas expansion,” adding, “We will continue to expand into new countries to strengthen our position as a global filler brand.”
