Publication of the ‘2025 Integrated Report’
[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyun-ah ] Naver (NAVER(035420)) has published its “2025 Integrated Report,” outlining a sustainable growth strategy for platform companies in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). Highlighting the spread of AI technology, ecosystem growth, and ensuring technological reliability as its core pillars, the company also presented a blueprint to expand the cumulative size of its impact fund to 1 trillion won by 2030.
Naver announced on the 25th that it had released its Integrated Report, which details the company’s financial performance, ESG management activities, and sustainable growth direction for the year 2025.
Reflecting the accelerating shift toward AI, this year’s report is structured around three key pillars: ▲business synergy, ▲impact creation, and ▲technological reliability. Notably, the company expanded and reorganized “Project Kkot”—its existing initiative to support the growth of small business owners—into “NAVER Impact,” presenting an ecosystem strategy that encompasses enhancing access to AI technology, supporting the growth of business owners and creators, and fostering connections with local communities.

Impact Fund… Expanding the AI Ecosystem
According to the report, Naver disbursed a total of 1420억원 through
its Impact Fund
last year. Of this amount, 229억원 was allocated solely to the “Tech Impact” sector, which supports the dissemination of AI technology to various ecosystem members, including small business owners, creators, and local communities.
Notable examples included the “ADVoost Shopping × AI RIDE” campaign, which supports small business owners and brands in utilizing AI; “Creator Launcher,” a program to nurture creators; and “BE LOCAL WEEK Gyeongju,” a project to revitalize local commercial districts.
Naver has set a goal to continuously expand the scale of its Impact Fund, aiming to disburse a cumulative total of 1 trillion won by 2030.
Applying AI Across All Services… Accelerating the ‘On-Service AI’ Strategy
This report also placed significant emphasis on Naver’s core AI strategy, ‘On-Service AI.’
On-Service AI is a strategy to enhance the user experience by seamlessly integrating AI into Naver’s key services, such as search, shopping, content, and local information. Naver explained that it has established a virtuous cycle between data and AI based on data accumulated on its platforms, including UGC (user-generated content), shopping, and local data.
The company has applied AI technology to services such as AI Briefing, ADVoost, and Naver Plus Store, and plans to expand the AI experience—spanning search, purchasing, reservations, and payments—through future offerings like “Agent N,” the AI tab, and the Shopping AI Agent. The vision is to create a service environment where users’ exploration, decision-making, and action are seamlessly connected into a single flow.
Strengthening AI Trust and Climate Response
Naver has also completely overhauled its sustainability strategy to align with the AI era. The report includes significantly expanded coverage of key issues of high interest to stakeholders, such as personal data protection, information security, greenhouse gas and energy management, and human capital management.
In the environmental sector, the company disclosed its greenhouse gas reduction achievements under the “2040 Carbon Negative” strategy and the status of securing renewable energy for the operation of its AI data centers.
In addition, the company highlighted achievements such as receiving the highest rating in the Shared Growth Index for nine consecutive years; a “Very Excellent” rating in the search and shopping categories of the User Protection Performance Evaluation; an AA rating in the Fair Trade Compliance Program (CP) for two consecutive years; and the “Personal Information Protection Excellence Award” from the Korea Personal Information Protection Association.
In a separately published Climate Disclosure Report, the company disclosed its climate risk response system, which complies with global climate disclosure standards. In collaboration with the Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water), it conducted an analysis of extreme rainfall risks using digital twin technology, and together with the Korean Ecological Society, it performed a biodiversity impact assessment for the Chuncheon Data Center in accordance with the Task Force on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) standards.
Naver CEO Choi Soo-yeon stated, “Naver’s sustainable growth is only possible when we grow together with various members of our ecosystem, including users, businesses, and creators.” She added, “Moving forward, we will continue to support our partners’ growth by leveraging our capabilities in AI, data, and platforms, and we will build a Naver ecosystem that grows alongside diverse stakeholders so that more people can benefit from the opportunities offered by technology.”
