AHNLAB,INC. announced on the 25th that its endpoint security solution, “AhnLab V3,” participated in the June certification evaluation of “VB100” by the global security evaluation organization Virus Bulletin and achieved a 100% malware detection rate, earning the highest rating of A+.

VB100 is a global security certification that verifies the ability of Windows-based endpoint security products to respond to malware circulating in real-world environments; it is a leading performance evaluation program in which major global security companies consistently participate. Based on various threat scenarios that reflect real-world conditions, it simultaneously verifies detection rates and accuracy, serving as a key indicator for evaluating a product’s fundamental detection capabilities and stability.

In this June evaluation, AHNLAB,INC. V3 demonstrated the highest level of detection accuracy and stability by achieving a 100% malware detection rate while meeting the certification criteria for false positives. Notably, it was the only major Korean security company participating in the same evaluation to achieve a 100% detection rate, and by securing the top grade of A+, it showcased its differentiated technological competitiveness.

Furthermore, using a verification dataset (Certification Set(*)) based on actual malware in circulation, it detected every single piece of malware currently being distributed without missing a single one, while also meeting the false positive criteria for legitimate files, thereby proving the security reliability required in real-world environments.
