Ahead of the scheduled announcement of the first Phase 3 clinical trial data for TG-C in July, the company plans to review the clinical data and product competitiveness required by its partners. In addition to technology licensing, the company will also discuss commercialization partnerships—including marketing, sales, and distribution—necessary for entering the U.S. market.
While last year’s event focused on reporting the clinical development progress of TG-C, this year’s event will place greater emphasis on actual business negotiations. Kolon TissueGene, Inc. also plans to share its commercialization plans prepared for the U.S. market, including patient segmentation and insurance and pricing strategies.
In addition, Kolon TissueGene, Inc. will participate in the “International Workshop on Osteoarthritis Imaging 2026 (IWOAI),” taking place in Munich, Germany, from the 23rd to the 26th. The company plans to identify the latest trends in synovial inflammation, biomechanics, AI-based musculoskeletal image analysis, and clinical trial endpoints, and incorporate them into future clinical development and its application for marketing authorization with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
TG-C is currently in the final stages of a U.S. Phase 3 clinical trial. Based on this year’s clinical results, Kolon TissueGene, Inc. plans to submit a Biologics License Application (BLA) to the FDA and begin full-scale negotiations for global partnerships.
Jeon Seung-ho, CEO of Kolon TissueGene, Inc., emphasized, “2026 is a critical turning point as we prepare to announce clinical data and submit a marketing authorization application,” adding, “We will enhance the quality of the clinical data required for FDA approval while simultaneously discussing commercialization partnerships with global pharmaceutical companies.”
