The self-contained breathing apparatus supplied by Hancom Lifecare to Mongolia is personal protective equipment designed to protect workers’ respiratory systems in environments with toxic gases, such as fires and disasters. The company plans to expand its presence in the Asian market by leveraging its latest products, which deliver reliable performance even in harsh field conditions.

Hancom Lifecare has already established a track record in the production and sale of gas masks in Central Asia. Building on this foundation, the company aims to expand its influence into Asia and the Middle East and increase its overseas order volume to 300억 won through follow-up contracts.

Hancom Lifecare is currently in discussions with government agencies in key Middle Eastern countries regarding the supply of firefighting equipment. The company is also pursuing entry into the Middle Eastern defense market by promoting the “K10,” an export-oriented gas mask developed based on the technology of the new “K5” gas mask supplied to the South Korean military.

Hancom Lifecare has consistently participated in global safety equipment exhibitions in the Middle East and Europe, building a strong local network. Based on this foundation, the company is currently discussing various projects and anticipates securing additional orders in the future.

The company offers a comprehensive product lineup covering not only self-contained breathing apparatus but also gas masks, fire-resistant helmets, and fire-resistant boots—encompassing the full range of personal firefighting and safety equipment. Amid growing global demand for disaster response and safety, the company plans to enhance its competitiveness in overseas markets by leveraging this full product lineup.

Kim Sun-young, CEO of Hancom Lifecare, stated, “As disasters and security threats grow worldwide, the demand for proven safety and defense equipment is structurally increasing.” She added, “Given that active discussions are currently underway with government agencies and buyers in various countries, including the Middle East, we aim to translate these discussions into tangible contract wins and emerge as a key player in the global safety and defense market.”
