[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyun-ah ] SOOP(067160)is partnering with global gaming company Tencent to expand its collaboration on the esports business for the global shooting game "Delta Force." The company is strengthening its position as a global esports partner by broadening its role beyond organizing domestic tournaments to include producing broadcasts for global tournaments and supporting the Korean national team.
SOOP announced that it is continuing its collaboration with Tencent’s global FPS game, Delta Force, across various areas, including domestic tournament operations, Korean national team qualifiers, production of global tournament broadcasts, co-streaming, and on-site support for the Korean national team.

The two companies are collaborating to expand Delta Force’s domestic user base and revitalize its content, with SOOP responsible for organizing official domestic tournaments, producing content, and producing broadcasts for global tournaments.
SOOP hosts Korean national qualifiers and official/special event tournaments for domestic users, while also producing content featuring KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) and KOCs (Key Opinion Consumers) and supporting co-streaming by streamers.
Producing global esports tournaments is also a core part of SOOP’s role. SOOP has been responsible for the production and operation of major international tournaments, including the Asia Champions League (ACL), the Delta Force Korean qualifiers, and the “Delta Force Invitational: Warfare 2026 (DFIW 2026).”
In particular, at DFIW 2026, held in Wuhan, China, on the 21st, SOOP produced Korean-language broadcasts for domestic viewers using official game footage and provided both official broadcasts and co-streaming services alongside a team of FPS-specialized commentators.
DFIW 2026 was a global tournament with a total prize pool of 3 million yuan (approximately 700 million won).
SOOP was also responsible for providing on-site support to the Korean national team “HAN” during this tournament. The company facilitated the team’s smooth participation by managing player transportation and schedules, handling on-site operations, and liaising with the organizers.
Although HAN dropped into the losers’ bracket early in the tournament, they pulled off a major upset by defeating last year’s champion, TXD, and the strong title contender, RRQ, in succession to advance to the finals. Ultimately, they finished as runners-up, drawing the attention of Delta Force fans worldwide.
SOOP plans to continue its collaboration with Tencent to steadily expand its Delta Force esports business, including organizing domestic tournaments, producing broadcasts for global events, and planning content.
Meanwhile, Delta Force is a next-generation shooter game developed by Team Jade, part of Tencent’s Timi Studio Group. It is available globally, featuring the “All-Out War” mode—based on large-scale 32-on-32 battles—and the strategy-focused “Beacon Area” mode. Since its launch, the game has continued to enjoy success, recording 50 million daily active users (DAU).
