[Edaily Reporter Han Kwangbeom ] LG CNS (#LGCNES) is presenting a special exhibition to share digital technologies in everyday life and its brand value with the public.
LG Corp. announced on the 29th that it will host an interactive exhibition titled “When Technology Meets People: Connection Leads to the Heart” in collaboration with the Seoul Business Agency (SBA) at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) Showroom in Seoul from the 1st to the 20th of next month.
This exhibition was designed to visualize invisible technology through artistic content, allowing the public to naturally understand and engage with LG Corp.’s technology and brand identity. Through four programs—△performances, △media content, △talks, and △hands-on experiences—visitors can explore the role of digital technology in daily life and experience the changes that future core technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, will bring.
The exhibits are based on LG Corp.’s “Brand Experience (BX) Project,” which won four awards at the “iF Design Award” in Germany last April. Elements such as the “BX Web,” which integrates the brand’s philosophy, and the “Typography System,” which utilizes proprietary fonts and characters, are incorporated into the exhibition. Notably, the exhibition’s concept was recognized for its planning excellence after being selected as a winner in the “Social Impact Exhibition” category at this year’s iF Awards.
The performance program uses robotics and hologram technology to intuitively showcase future technologies. A runway performance featuring an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) carrying “CieNuS,” LG Corp.’s BX character, demonstrates the fusion of robotics with fashion and exhibition content. A hologram drama depicting digital technology integrated into everyday life will also be screened.
The media content section symbolically expresses the connection between technology and citizens by utilizing “Connecting Sphere,” the exhibition’s core motif. Through visual elements that transform into dots, spheres, and hearts depending on the viewing angle, it conveys the idea that technology connects people and society. Additionally, LG CNS’s digital technologies—applied across a wide range of industries including transportation, finance, logistics, and commerce—will be introduced via media devices within the exhibition hall.
Throughout the exhibition period, talk programs featuring experts in the fields of culture, arts, science, and the humanities will be held. These sessions will provide a forum for discussing topics ranging from the impact of technological advancements on creativity and happiness to societal changes in the AI era and the role of humans. In addition, hands-on programs will allow visitors to create their own keychains, mugs, and other items using characters and typography.
Yoo Ji-yeon, Team Leader of the Brand Experience Strategy Team at LG Corp., said, “This exhibition is an attempt to present technology not as a difficult or distant concept, but as an experience that can be seen and felt in everyday life.” She added, “We hope this exhibition will provide an opportunity for us to reflect together on the direction technology should take for the benefit of people’s lives and society.”
