Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. Continues Partnership with U.S.-Based 3DR Labs for Fourth Consecutive Year… Usage Up 60%

[Edaily Reporter NA EUN-KYUNG ] Coreline Soft Co., Ltd.(384470)is expanding its business footprint in the North American market by continuing its partnership with 3DR Labs, a U.S.-based medical imaging post-processing specialist, for the fourth consecutive year.

According to Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. on the 30th, the company signed a contract with 3DR Labs earlier this year to renew its subscription for the fourth year and recently completed the transition to a production environment for AVIEW 2.0. This contract was reflected in the company’s first-quarter revenue.

3DR Labs is a specialized company that provides medical image post-processing and 3D image analysis services—including computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)—to over 1,000 hospitals and radiology centers across the United States. As it operates a teleradiology network that processes large-scale image data, it is regarded as a key partner for verifying the practical clinical utility and operational efficiency of medical artificial intelligence (AI).

According to the company, this contract renewal also includes an expansion in the usage of AView. Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. explained that 3DR Labs’ annual usage of AView has increased by approximately 60% compared to previous levels. This signifies that the agreement goes beyond a simple contract extension and represents an additional contract based on actual usage growth, serving as an example of the expanding use of AI in the U.S. market.

In the medical AI business, it is important not only to acquire new customers but also to ensure continued usage and increased adoption among existing customers. As AI utilization grows in actual operations, the company expects to see corresponding growth in its usage-based pricing (PPU) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based recurring revenue models.

The transition to the AView 2.0 operating environment is also cited as a foundation for business expansion. Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. explained that through this transition, it has improved speed, stability, user experience, report integration, and data processing efficiency in the actual image interpretation and post-processing processes, thereby establishing a more stable operating environment.

Along with the transition to AView 2.0, Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. is also pursuing an expansion of concurrent user (CCU) licenses. The company views this as an indicator that the scope of use within 3DR Labs is broadening and expects it to support both future growth in usage and the potential for additional product applications.

The potential for expanding the product portfolio has also been confirmed. Currently, 3DR Labs is using AView CAC, a coronary artery calcification analysis solution, and plans to conduct internal validation of a pulmonary nodule analysis solution in the future. Depending on the validation results, the company anticipates cross-selling opportunities to expand its product portfolio to existing customers. The company explains that this could serve as a catalyst for expanding its business in the U.S. market beyond the sale of a single product to a multi-disease analysis platform based on chest CT.

Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. observes that the role of AI in the U.S. medical imaging market is expanding beyond lesion detection to encompass the entire operational process, including image interpretation, report generation, and image post-processing. With demand for imaging exams on the rise but a limited pool of radiology professionals, the company analyzes that the importance of AI platforms—which enhance interoperability with existing systems and improve operational efficiency—is growing.

Coreline Soft Co., Ltd.’s eView 2.0 is an integrated platform developed in response to these market changes. The company has expanded its foothold in the U.S. market by securing U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for its major product lines, including eView CAC, eView LCS, and eView COPD. The company explained that this transition of 3DR Labs’ operational environment is significant because it demonstrates that FDA-cleared products are leading to long-term customer renewals, increased usage, and consideration of additional product lines in actual U.S. healthcare settings.

Coreline Soft Co., Ltd. views this contract as having laid the groundwork for expanding its AI platform business in the North American market, as it leads to increased usage among existing customers, the enhancement of the operating environment, and the evaluation of additional product lines. The company plans to continue expanding its portfolio of chest CT-based products—such as those for pulmonary nodules and COPD—centered on its teleradiology network, while further strengthening its usage-based recurring revenue model.

Kwak Ji-wan, Director of Coreline Soft Co., Ltd.’s North American Business Division, stated, “Our four-year partnership with 3DR Labs demonstrates that AView is being reliably utilized in the U.S. medical imaging environment.” He added, “We plan to further enhance operational stability and usability through the transition to AView 2.0, and expand our collaboration beyond AView CAC to include additional product lines such as pulmonary nodule analysis.”
