PIM KOREA Co.,Ltd. Participates in Government Policy Briefing… “Expanding Focus on Physical AI and Data Center Markets”

[Edaily Reporter Park Jung-Soo ] PIM KOREA(448900)announced on the 30th that it attended a government-hosted policy briefing on high-tech industries and plans to expand its efforts to tap into the physical AI and AI data center markets.
The company was invited to and attended the recent policy briefing titled “Plan to Promote the Three Major Mega-Projects for Korea’s Great Leap Forward.” The event was organized to discuss measures for fostering key industries—such as semiconductors, physical AI, and AI data centers—and expanding related infrastructure. Approximately 100 people attended, including government officials from the Office of the President, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Science and ICT, and the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment, as well as representatives from industry and academia.
The briefing featured presentations on industry-specific humanoid development and deployment in industrial settings, with a focus on the physical AI sector; the creation of a robotics cluster linking Saemangeum (manufacturing and parts cluster), Daegu and North Gyeongsang (certification and demonstration), and the Seoul Metropolitan Area (industry-academia hub); and policies for building physical AI infrastructure. In the AI data center sector, discussions centered on the construction of ultra-large-scale AI data centers in various regions, the development of supporting ecosystems, and strategies for export and commercialization, while PIM KOREA Co.,Ltd. showcased its proprietary technologies and products.
Based on its Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technology, PIM KOREA Co.,Ltd. is expanding its business into various cutting-edge industrial sectors, including automotive electronics, humanoid robots, IT, autonomous driving, and AI data centers.
In the humanoid robotics sector, the company has completed the development of an 8mm ultra-compact gear reducer prototype and is currently in discussions with global companies regarding sample supply and supply agreements. Additionally, it recently expanded its product portfolio by supplying four types of cooling materials for local AI data centers through a U.S. power solutions company.
A company official stated, “We were invited to this event by the government in recognition of our track record in commercializing products for global companies, our manufacturing technology for ultra-compact materials for humanoid robots, and our success in supplying cooling materials to U.S. AI data centers.” The official added, “Having shared our strategic direction for robotics and AI data center projects with the government agencies and major corporations in attendance, we plan to expand our cooperation in the future to secure further achievements.”
