With the recent proliferation of generative AI driving increased investment in data centers by global cloud companies, demand for key materials that contribute to cooling efficiency and energy savings is also on the rise. Since power efficiency and cooling performance directly impact operating costs in data centers, the quality and supply stability of materials used in cooling containment systems are highly valued.
The products supplied by S POLYTECH CO.,LTD. are the polycarbonate double-glazed panel “SKYLITE” and the single-glazed panel “EXEET PC.” SKYLITE is used to enhance the thermal insulation performance of cooling containment systems, while EXEET PC is applied to areas requiring visibility of internal equipment and impact resistance. Both products are used in cooling containment systems that separate the flow of cold and hot air within data centers, contributing to the stable operation of servers and power equipment as well as improved energy efficiency.
S POLYTECH CO.,LTD. completed quality verification of product performance and supply stability through the first three shipments, which took place from November of last year through April of this year. The company plans to begin full-scale mass production and supply starting with the fourth shipment, scheduled for late June.
The company plans to use this supply as an opportunity to expand its supply volume within the data center while broadening its scope to global data center markets, including Asia. It expects demand for high-performance polycarbonate materials to continue growing in line with the expansion of the AI industry and increased investment in data centers.
