Lee Eun-sang made his debut in the music industry in 2019 as a member of the project boy group X1, which was formed through Mnet’s “Produce X 101.” He subsequently made a comeback in 2022 as a member of UNITE, serving as the group’s co-leader and lead vocalist. Previously, Lee Eun-sang temporarily suspended his activities in May of last year due to health reasons. Brand New Music explained, “After Lee Eun-sang’s health improved, we engaged in lengthy and in-depth discussions with him and the UNITE members regarding the direction of his future activities.” They added, “During that process, we confirmed the musical direction and vision he wishes to pursue, and we have decided to fully respect his wishes.” Brand New Music stated, “Lee Eun-sang plans to reconnect with fans through music that embodies her own unique style and sensibility,” and added, “We ask for your support and encouragement as she stands at the starting line of this new chapter.”
