NBT INC. Reports 25% Growth in E-commerce Affiliate Transaction Volume in First Half… Revenue Doubles

[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] NBT INC.(236810), a comprehensive points platform company, reported a significant increase in transaction volume and revenue for the first half of the year, driven by the growth of its commerce affiliate business.

NBT INC. announced on the 1st that transaction volume in its commerce affiliate business rose 25% in the first half of this year compared to the beginning of the year, while revenue doubled over the same period.

The commerce affiliate business operates primarily through “LinkCommerce,” a business-to-business (B2B) affiliate marketing platform, and “Chips,” a business-to-consumer (B2C) shopping service. LinkCommerce connects users to external e-commerce purchases through affiliate ads, while Chips is a service that helps users find the lowest prices and facilitates purchase conversions.

This year, the company expanded its partnerships to include Today’s House, HotelsCombined, and MyRealTrip, broadening its commerce portfolio. Additionally, it launched “LinkCommerce Connect Ad Center,” an affiliate marketing operations platform, establishing a system for integrated management—from ad integration to operations and settlement—and began full-scale commercialization.

Synergies between LinkCommerce and Chips are also emerging. The company explains that, driven by the expansion of its affiliate network and improvements in purchase conversion rates, increased transaction volume is leading to higher commission revenue. Chips’ monthly active users (MAU) have more than sextupled, rising from around 20,000 at the beginning of the year to 130,000 recently.

A company official stated, “The commerce affiliate business is establishing itself as a new growth engine that complements our existing advertising-centric revenue structure,” adding, “Based on the expansion of our affiliate network through the LinkCommerce Connect Ad Center and Chips’ purchase conversion results, we expect to maintain this growth momentum in the second half of the year.”

Meanwhile, NBT INC. previously announced that it had returned to profitability in the second quarter, driven by improvements in its cost structure, following its restructuring of the advertising supply model for its core business to an ad exchange-based system and its proactive investments in stablecoins and AI transformation infrastructure. The company also forecasts a return to profitability on an annual basis this year.

Its core business, Addison Offer Wall, is adding an ad exchange function that integrates 19 domestic and international advertising networks to secure network commission revenue and improve profit margins.
