This resale of convertible bonds is a financial measure aimed at securing operating funds and strengthening the company’s ability to execute contracted projects. The company plans to use the raised funds to enhance management efficiency by ensuring the stable execution of existing core businesses, responding to new orders, and supporting the expansion of its subsidiaries’ operations. This decision is also significant as the first follow-up step to strengthen financial stability and business execution capabilities following the recent appointment of Lee Hak-young as co-CEO. Based on its co-CEO system, VitzroSys., Co. LTD plans to simultaneously manage profitability in its automatic control, railway, and power infrastructure businesses while securing new growth engines. Last year, VitzroSys., Co. LTD laid the foundation for a return to normal business performance by achieving revenue growth and returning to profitability on a consolidated basis. Since the start of this year, the company has been strengthening its core business competitiveness, focusing on integrated railway information systems, platform screen doors (PSD), power control, and smart infrastructure. Recently, the company has continued to secure orders in the public infrastructure sector, including a large-scale contract with the Korea National Railway Corporation for the manufacture and installation of platform screen doors (PSDs). It has also enhanced its technological competitiveness in the railway safety infrastructure sector by securing a patent for an emergency opening/closing device for platform screen doors that can operate even during power outages and other emergencies. Its subsidiary, HLB Elec, is also expanding its order intake in the electrical and instrumentation design and construction sector by selectively securing contracts from high-quality private-sector clients and increasing orders in collaboration with major private construction firms. VitzroSys., Co. LTD’s strategy is to broaden business opportunities in both the public and private infrastructure markets by leveraging synergies between its core automatic control and power monitoring and control businesses and its subsidiary’s electrical and instrumentation business. A VitzroSys., Co. LTD official stated, “This resale of convertible bonds goes beyond securing short-term funds; it is a measure to ensure the stable execution of contracted projects and to secure resources for growth,” adding, “With the transition to a dual-CEO system, we will simultaneously pursue improvements in financial stability, business execution capabilities, and profitability.”
