[Edaily Reporter Yun Junghoon ] #Nota Inc., a company specializing in model lightweighting and optimization technologies, announced on the 2nd that it has listed “NVA (Nota Vision Agent),” a vision language model (VLM)-based video surveillance solution, on the Naver Cloud Marketplace and is now actively seeking to secure new sales channels.

NVA is a next-generation video surveillance solution that goes beyond simple object detection based on traditional computer vision (CV). By utilizing VLM—a type of generative AI—it understands the situations and context within video footage and analyzes and summarizes signs of anomalies. Its core competitive advantage lies in its ability to provide text-based descriptions of complex on-site situations and independently assess suspicious incidents.
Since its launch last year, the solution has expanded its scope of application to various video monitoring fields, including industrial safety, transportation, disaster response, media, and public screening surveillance. It is currently being utilized by numerous companies and public institutions, such as KOLON INDUSTRIES and the Daejeon Regional Office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), adoption cases are expanding into overseas markets such as the Middle East and Kenya.
This expansion of on-site applications is also driving revenue growth. In the first half of 2026, NVA orders increased 1.8 times compared to the same period last year. This demonstrates growing demand for implementing VLM-based video analysis in an on-device environment to enable immediate situational responses in industrial settings, and it is significant in that Nota Inc.’s competitive edge in AI lightweighting and optimization technologies is translating into actual adoption demand.
This listing is expected to serve as an opportunity to expand NVA’s customer reach and sales channels. This is because it has laid the groundwork for exploring new cloud-based markets among Naver Cloud customers, moving beyond the existing structure centered on industry-specific projects and direct sales.
NVA is provided as a pre-configured package, which shortens the PoC and deployment periods, and allows customers to start with a small number of video channels and gradually expand both the number of channels and detection scenarios. Additionally, the cloud-based deployment method and monthly subscription billing model reduce the initial infrastructure investment and cost burden, making it easier for small and medium-sized enterprises to adopt generative AI-based video surveillance solutions.
Chae Myeong-su, CEO of Nota Inc., stated, “NVA is Nota Inc.’s core solution, which is growing rapidly—having expanded its scope of application to domestic companies and public institutions as well as the overseas traffic control sector in less than a year since its launch.” He added, “Through this listing on the Naver Cloud Marketplace, we will expand our customer base in the private, financial, and public sectors and actively explore new cloud-based revenue channels.”
