[Edaily Reporter Park Sun-Yeop ] Namu Securities ( NH INVESTMENT & SECURITIES(005940)) announced on the 2nd that it is launching a promotion offering two years of free trading commissions on domestic stocks and domestic exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for its customers, as well as a promotion providing investment support funds to customers who transfer their stock holdings from other brokers. These promotions were designed in response to the growing number of investors who are carefully weighing both transaction costs and the competitiveness of investment services amid increasing stock market volatility. Namu Securities plans to reduce the burden of transaction costs and expand investment benefits for new customers, dormant accounts, and customers transferring stocks from other firms. First, customers who open a new online comprehensive trading account with Namu Securities by December 31 of this year will be exempt from all trading commissions, domestic stock and domestic ETF trading fees, and fees charged by related institutions for 24 months starting from the account opening date. The same benefits are available to dormant customers. Customers who opened an account before 2026 but have no stock trading history this year and whose total assets are 10万 won or less can trade domestic stocks and domestically listed ETFs commission-free until June 30, 2028. Eligibility for the promotion can be checked on the event page of the Namu Securities app. An investment support bonus event is also being held for customers transferring stocks from other firms. Until August 31, customers who transfer domestic stocks from other securities firms to Namu Securities will receive a 50,000 won investment support bonus for every 10 million won of net deposits. The maximum bonus amount is 5 million won. Eligible products include domestic stocks listed on the KOSPI and KOSDAQ, ETFs, and exchange-traded notes (ETNs). A key feature of this event is that benefits are provided based solely on the net deposit amount, without any complicated additional conditions. Kang Min-hoon, Head of the Digital Business Division at NH INVESTMENT & SECURITIES, stated, “We organized this event so that more investors can easily experience Namu Securities’ convenient trading environment, AI investment services, and diverse investment content—all in line with our vision of being an investment platform that grows together with our customers.” He added, “We will continue to expand tangible benefits and differentiated investment services that our customers can truly appreciate.” Detailed information about the event is available on the Namu Securities app and website.
