[Edaily Reporter KIM JI-WAN ] SCL Healthcare, a subsidiary of SCL Science(246960), announced on the 3rd that it recently participated in the “24th InterBiz Bio Partnering & Investment Forum 2026” held in Jeju, showcasing its capabilities in next-generation drug screening and biopharmaceutical analysis.

The InterBiz Bio Partnering & Investment Forum is Korea’s largest open innovation event, bringing together industry, academia, research institutes, and companies in the domestic pharmaceutical and biotech sectors to discuss technology transfer (L/O), joint research, and investment partnerships. This year’s event was held in Jeju from the 1st to the 3rd.
Participating in the event for the first time, SCL Healthcare provided technical consultations and advisory services to representatives from pharmaceutical and biotech companies at its booth and introduced its specimen analysis services based on the Central Laboratory (C-LAB).
In particular, C-LAB—which significantly expanded the scope of its sample analysis services after receiving additional designation for “Mass Spectrometry” from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety last April—focused on introducing next-generation drug screening and quantitative analysis solutions based on liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and targeted peptide therapeutics, which have recently garnered significant attention in the field of new drug development, require a high degree of analytical accuracy and data reliability during the research and development phase.
At this forum, SCL Healthcare introduced sample analysis services essential for biopharmaceutical development, including △analysis of ADC payload and linker structures, △in vivo pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) evaluations, and △analysis of targeted peptide therapeutics. Furthermore, the company garnered significant interest from industry professionals by showcasing its standardized quantitative analysis platform and world-class data quality management capabilities.
Baek Se-yeon, COO of SCL Healthcare (who also serves as CEO of SCL Science), stated, “Through our first participation in this InterBiz Forum, we were able to confirm the industry’s high level of interest and expectations regarding our sample analysis capabilities.” She added, “Moving forward, we will continue to grow as a global-standard partner that enhances the value of domestic and international new drug development pipelines based on precise and reliable data.”
Meanwhile, SCL Healthcare’s C-LAB, established in 2006, is Korea’s first clinical research organization (CRO) specializing in analysis. In 2019, it became the first C-LAB in Korea to be designated as a clinical trial specimen analysis institution by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. Recently, it has expanded its scope of designation to include mass spectrometry, thereby strengthening its competitiveness in biopharmaceutical analysis.
