[Edaily Reporter Hyera Lee ] VALOFE(331520)announced on the 3rd that it is currently working on a project to relaunch the 2D side-scrolling MMORPG "Master of Fantasy," which ceased service in 2010.

"Master of Fantasy" launched in 2006 and built a loyal user base thanks to its unique systems, story, illustrations, and music. Even after service ended, users continued to call for a relaunch.
VALOFE explained that, drawing on its accumulated experience in republishing game intellectual property (IP), it is focusing its development efforts on enhancing the game’s polish and operational competitiveness while preserving the original’s gameplay and 2D side-scrolling charm.
For this project, the company plans to completely port the existing in-house engine to “Unreal Engine 5.8” to improve graphics and visual effects, while enhancing the game’s quality without compromising the original’s charm. Additionally, it intends to establish a cross-platform environment supporting both PC and mobile to target the global market.
VALOFE communicates with users through its official community platform, “Orvvit,” and plans to sequentially disclose details such as the release schedule and service regions as development progresses.
A VALOFE representative stated, “We plan to present a game that satisfies both existing and new users by maintaining the original’s identity and gameplay while incorporating modern technology,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen our competitive edge in development and IP-centric business through this project.”
