[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] Seungmin of the group Stray Kids will minimize his participation in certain content and schedules to focus on his recovery. Previously, Seungmin missed a performance at “The Governors Ball Music Festival” in the U.S. last June due to an ankle injury. Stray Kids’ Seungmin (Photo: JYP Entertainment) JYP Entertainment released an official statement on the 2nd, stating, “As previously announced, Seungmin is continuing treatment in accordance with medical advice and is currently focusing on rest and treatment for a speedy recovery.” The agency explained, “As the artist’s health is our top priority, he either did not participate in some filming schedules during this period or limited his participation to the minimum, taking into account the condition of the injured area.” Accordingly, the agency noted that Seungmin’s appearances may be limited in some content to be released in the future. JYP Entertainment said, “We ask for your kind understanding.” They added, “Although Seungmin showed a strong determination to resume activities, we reached this decision after thorough discussions to ensure he can meet fans in good health.” Future official schedules will be determined after continuously monitoring his recovery progress. The agency stated, “We will also closely monitor the artist’s condition to determine whether to proceed with major scheduled official events, and we will provide separate updates if there are any changes.” Finally, JYP Entertainment said, “We sincerely apologize for having to continue sharing this unfortunate news,” adding, “We will do our best to ensure Seungmin recovers his health as soon as possible.” Stray Kids will hold their World Tour Seoul concerts at the K-Sport Dome in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 25th–26th, the 29th, and August 1st–2nd.
