On the 4th, Lindsay announced her marriage in a handwritten letter posted on her social media, writing, “I have some news I’d like to share with you all today—with some trepidation. Everyone, I’m getting married!”
Lindsay will tie the knot with a non-celebrity businessman tomorrow (the 5th) at a private location in Seoul. Since her fiancé is not a celebrity, the ceremony will be held privately with only family and close acquaintances in attendance. With this, Lindsay becomes the third member of the group to get married, following Jae-i in 2020 and Hye-mi in 2024.
She expressed her apologies to her fans, saying, “Even though this is happy news, I feel deeply sorry for all of you who must be surprised that I’m sharing this so suddenly.” She added, “Because you’ve always believed in me and waited for me—and because you’ve been with me not only through my performances and songs but also through the moments of my life—it’s weighed heavily on my heart that I couldn’t tell you sooner or in a better way.”
She continued, “I’ve found a precious person who steadfastly protects my ordinary days and gives me strength,” revealing her affection for her fiancé by saying, “Through the time we’ve spent together, I’ve learned to want to become a warmer and stronger person, and we’ve decided to walk through life together.”
Lindsay said that even as she shared the news of her marriage, her fans were the first people who came to mind. “Above all, the first people who came to mind when sharing this news were all of you, my fans,” she said, expressing her gratitude: “Thanks to your support, I was able to endure countless moments, get back on my feet, and return to the stage.”
She continued, “You are not simply people who cheer me on; you are precious people who have walked alongside me through many scenes of my youth and dreams,” adding, “If you’re surprised or feel a bit disappointed, I won’t take those feelings lightly. I’d be grateful if you could watch over me gently and patiently.”
Finally, she said, “I will never forget the love you’ve shown me, and I will repay you by being more dedicated on stage and more warm-hearted and responsible in my personal life,” adding, “I sincerely thank and love all of you who have always stood by my side.”
Lindsay debuted as a member of the group Fiestar in 2012 and has since continued her career, regularly appearing on stage as a musical theater actress.
