[Edaily Starin JOO MEE_HEE Reporter] The boy band CORTIS continues to enjoy long-term success on music charts both domestically and internationally. Having secured a solid global fanbase and widespread popularity, the group appears poised to maintain its top spot for over two months since the release of their music.

According to their agency, Big Hit Music, on the 5th, the title track “REDRED” from CORTIS’s (Martin, James, Joo-hoon, Seong-hyun, Geon-ho) second mini-album maintained the No. 1 spot on Apple Music’s “Today’s Top 100: South Korea” chart the previous day. Since first reaching the top on April 26—the sixth day after its release—the song has held the No. 1 spot for 70 consecutive days.
This is the longest run for a single song by a boy group that debuted within the last five years, and it is also the longest-running number-one hit among Korean songs released this year. Additionally, on the global chart “Today’s Top 100: Global,” the song has remained on the chart for 69 days since reaching its highest-ever ranking of No. 18 on May 6. BTS and KORTIS are the only two Korean boy groups to have appeared on that global chart this year.
“REDRED” is a song that weaves the concept of “RED”—representing what to be wary of—and “GREEN”—representing the ideal—into its lyrics. It has garnered a positive response at various events, including winning 11 music show awards in Korea, as well as at university festivals and street cheering events for the 2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup. On the global music streaming platform Spotify, the song surpassed 100 million cumulative streams as of the 16th of last month.
Cortice will be holding their first tour, “PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN,” through September. During the tour, on July 31 and August 1 (local time), they will perform at the major U.S. music festival “Lollapalooza Chicago,” marking the only appearance by a K-pop boy group at the event this year. He will also join the lineup for the “Rock in Japan Festival 2026,” taking place on September 20 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, and the main stage at the “Formula One (F1) Singapore Grand Prix 2026” on October 9.
