[E-Daily Reporter Kim Min-jung ] Lim Seong-geun, a cast member of “Black & White Chef 2,” is opening a new restaurant in Paju and beginning operations.

On the 5th, Im Seong-geun announced the restaurant’s opening on his social media, saying, “I sincerely thank everyone who has waited so long for the opening and cheered me on.”

He explained, “I’ve prepared everything with the utmost care, one step at a time, so that I can present an even better experience to you all, worthy of your patience,” adding, “Although the preparation process was not easy, I’ve done my very best, driven by a single goal: to ensure every guest leaves satisfied.”

He continued, “My greatest joy is seeing our customers enjoy their meals and smile brightly,” adding, “To ensure as many people as possible can dine comfortably during the initial opening phase, we will operate without reservations for the time being. We ask for your kind understanding if this causes any inconvenience.”

According to Lim Seong-geun, the restaurant is located in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, and will hold a soft opening from the 6th to the 8th before officially opening on the 9th.

The restaurant is a large-scale establishment occupying an entire three-story building: the first floor serves jjagali, the second floor serves galbi, and the third floor is a café.

Meanwhile, Lim Seong-geun rose to fame through his appearance on the Netflix variety show “Black & White Chef: The War of Culinary Classes 2.” However, he has completely suspended his broadcasting activities after it was revealed that he has six prior convictions, including four for drunk driving, one for driving without a license, and a mutual assault charge.
