VAYONN is the second boy group to be launched by Incode Entertainment—founded by singer Kim Jae-joong—following Kibit Up, which debuted last April. The group consists of six members: Sen, Masato, Ayang, Jinwi, Teru, and Mano. Four of the members—Sen, Masato, Ayang, and Jinwi—are alumni of Mnet’s idol survival program “Boys 2 Planet.”
Their debut album features a total of five tracks, including the title track “MUAH!” The agency explained, “Bayon’s album conveys the message that every day is youth for everyone, and that each day is a special moment in itself.”
The title track “MUAH!” is a teen dance-pop song featuring refreshing synth sounds and upbeat drumming. It captures the bright energy of youth, which views even the blazing summer sun as a sign of love.
Among the tracks, “Super Lucky Song” features lyrics co-written by Kim Jae-joong. The members of Bayon also collaborated on the lyrics for another track, “Where My Youth Lives.” All tracks from the album will be released at 6 p.m. today via various online music platforms.
